Well, once we're approaching into the golden age, we should be engaging the life style of retiring society which comprises from daily routines up to budget perspectives. This must be tested much earlier so that we could anticipate the likelihood of our survival during those era without much hassle & hiccup.
The plans could be segregated into several major categories such as recurring income generation, social involvement, family affection, leisure activities, investment return portfolio, traveling to unfamiliar territories with our loved ones & etc...etc...etc.
The bottom line is we should be able to accommodate all financial obligation for those executions based on monthly income generated from various retirement portfolios. If this is a success, the chance of cruising towards retirement age with full enjoyment will be very much anticipated with deeper optimism. Having said that, we also should ask ourselves following areas as always highlighted by financial gurus as far as early retirement is concerned:
1. acknowledging the need to transition which normally deal with tension, ambiguity, apprehension and confusion
2. discovering your potential via introspection
3. discovering your options via exploration and experimentation
4. discovering your goals via time-commitment and planning phase
5. implementation and engagement stage
